Love all the aero tech on that, even from 1966. Love the story behind it too. Ford wants to acquire part of Ferrari; Enzo sez "no"; Ford says "we'll see you in the track... bitches ."

The only one I've ever seen I suspect was a kit car, but it was awesome nonetheless. It remains (and I'm not talking about the GT here, but only the GT40) potentially the coolest car ever made. The stripes, the wheels, the curve. Here it comes, here comes the GT40, it's a demon on wheels.

Needless to say I was awestruck by the both its beauty and its heritage.

I'll have to make it there sometime. Kinda cracks me up they call it "The Henry Ford," like he's James Smithson or something. Without the whole "free museum" benefit.

The cost is a little high but it has some of the worlds most interesting items inside.Worth every penny.
